He received his call to the gospel ministry in 1993 with a primary focus of marriage and family counseling, directing the people of God to a closer walk with the divine Father through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, and empowering them to have a better quality of life. Pastor Boykin was born in 1962 in Frisco City, Alabama, to the late Weaver and Ella Mae Boykin. From his youth up until his call to preaching ministry, he served faithfully in many church capacities to include Usher, Deacon, Choir, Youth Advisor, and Administrator.

Pastor Boykin in his early years of ministry studied at the Birmingham Baptist Bible College and the Renewed Hope Ministries of Bessemer Alabama. Pastor Boykin, from 1994 to 2003, served as Assistant Pastor at churches in Birmingham and Montgomery, Alabama. In May 2003, he became the Senior Pastor and overseer at Restoration Baptist Church in Montgomery where he served for eight years. Pastor Boykin is married to Lady Gwendolyn M. Boykin, and together they have five children and two adoptive twin daughters, all of which are grown. Since its first service on January 6, 2019, The Relentless and Victorious Christian Church has experienced rapid growth under the leadership of Pastor Boykin, numerous ministries have been implemented, and there are continuous praise reports and testimonies from the Church family of positive increases and having experienced a better quality of life. Pastor Boykin’s prayer and decree to all those he is blessed to encounter within the body of Christ is “May the rest of your life be the best of your life.”
